        The pilot project for the industrialization of bio-natural gas preparation from mixed waste liquids of multiple raw materials in Guangxi Wuming (hereinafter referred to as the "Guangxi Wuming Project") is located in Luobo Town, Wuming District, Guangxi. It is invested and operated by Guangxi Wuming Welle Energy Environmental Co., Ltd. A pilot project of a large-scale bio-natural gas project within the central budget that HEEE participated in the construction.

Project background

        The Guangxi Wuming project completed the civil construction acceptance on July 18, 2018 in Luobo Town, Wuming District, Nanning City, Guangxi. At present, it has entered the formal operation stage.
        The project undertakes raw materials such as crop stalks, manure, waste fruits and vegetables, and kitchen waste from Wuming area. Through the harmless treatment and resource utilization of organic waste in Wuming area, it will better protect the blue sea and blue sky of Wuming area. , Promote the construction of livable Wuming.

 Solutions and technical advantages

        The Guangxi Wuming project uses surrounding agricultural wastes (sugar cane tail leaves, manure, etc.) as raw materials, adopts raw material pretreatment + medium temperature anaerobic fermentation + comprehensive utilization of three marshes. The treatment process is mainly divided into pretreatment unit and anaerobic Fermentation and biogas purification unit and biogas residue and liquid treatment unit.

Preprocessing unit
        The pretreatment unit pretreats each raw material of different nature separately, and the process includes a kitchen sorting machine, a homogenization tank, a grille machine, a straw crusher, a hydrolysis tank, etc.
        The manure and sewage are transported to the homogenization tank of this project. Considering that there are certain impurities in the raw materials, a multi-stage sand removal process is used to remove the impurities; after the sugarcane tail leaves are crushed by multiple crushers, they are screwed to the hydrolysis tank for hydrolysis , The mixture is pumped to the anaerobic tank for fermentation.

        The biogas produced by anaerobic fermentation can be compressed and purified to prepare bio-natural gas and boiler units after desulfurization and dehydration. This project uses wet desulfurization as the main process to purify and remove hydrogen sulfide and water in the biogas after anaerobic fermentation, with high desulfurization effect , Strong resistance to load impact, simple operation and full automation.

        In the project, a double-membrane dry gas storage tank is used to store the purified biogas. The gas storage cabinet has strong anti-ultraviolet rays, anti-leakage, high tensile strength, applicable temperature -30~60℃. It occupies a small area, low investment in equipment and short construction period.
Biogas residue and liquid treatment unit
        After the anaerobic fermentation liquid is separated from solid and liquid, the biogas slurry enters the biogas slurry tank for irrigation of surrounding economic crops; the biogas residue enters the drying and dumping yard as solid fertilizer.


        Since the formal operation of the Wuming project in Guangxi, the daily biogas production has reached 41,100 Nm³ (methane content is calculated as 60%). After purification and purification, the daily production of natural gas is 20,000 Nm³, and the annual production of natural gas is 7.3 million Nm³. The biogas produced is mainly used It is merged into the urban natural gas pipeline network and vehicle gas; the solid and liquid produced are sold as organic fertilizer raw materials, with an annual production of 56,000 tons of solid organic fertilizer raw materials and 6,600 tons of liquid organic fertilizer raw materials.
        In addition, it also uses biogas residues to produce organic fertilizer, irrigates sugarcane fields, and conducts planting experiments on economic crop vegetables and matsutake. The implementation of the results of this series of projects maximized the economic benefits of the project and effectively promoted the development of the modern ecological agricultural circular economy in Wuming District.

        The completion and operation of the Wuming project in Guangxi is of great significance to the construction of biomass energy in Guangxi. In this process, Hangneng actively leverages its own advantages, releases the potential of biogas as a renewable energy source, promotes the industrialization of bio-natural gas in Wuming District, and contributes little to the energy conservation and emission reduction work in Wuming District.
